"I am a sculptor at heart and by training, earning my MFA in sculpture from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks in 2012. I consider the copper jewelry to be small sculptures, each one being completely unique. I have also been working with patina extensively for several years now. Patinas are various chemical formulas that react and oxidize the copper to produce the coloration on the metal. I find this to be an extremely exciting process with endless creative possibilities. 

Nature and natural processes continue to inspire and inform my work and living in interior Alaska constantly influences and drive the work that I produce."
